In Chicago, Clea, a maverick artist from Wisconsin, has an unusual romantic encounter with Robert, a charming painter, from London, with a roving girlfriend.

          When they each return home, they try to forget how great it was.  They carry on an erotically charged connection across the internet -- through their artwork.

          Their chance meeting at another art show in Venice, Italy, turns the art world on its ear.
